For more than 60 years Camp Elim has accommodated group bookings for school camps, church camps, family camps and interest groups camps. We can provide catering for up to 120 people, run adventure activities and create a custom camp program to suit your group’s needs.
Facilities include:
Two halls capable of fitting over 100 each
Accommodation to sleep over 120 in 6 bunk rooms, 4 family units and 4 lakeside cabins
Activities include Giant Swing, Adventure Tower (rock climbing), Archery, Canoeing, Stand-up paddleboarding
Sole occupancy is available for groups of 50+

Holiday Makers
For over 60 years families and individuals have enjoyed holidaying at Camp Elim. Alcohol, smoking and pets are not permitted, making Camp Elim the perfect location for families wanting a quiet break. Holiday makers can make bookings up to 4 weeks in advance over school terms and 10 months in advance when booking a week over the Christmas Holidays.

Washing up area, communal fridges and microwaves
Two amenity blocks
Free washing machines, coin operated driers
Table tennis area (subject to availability)
Lake volley ball
Half-court basketball
Bookings can be made over the phone or online. Online bookings may use the voucher “jesussaves” in the payment section for a 10% discount.
Camp Elim
Camp Elim is tucked away in the Booti Booti National Park on a narrow strip of land between Green Point and Tiona. We are a Christian camp site accommodating both holidaymakers and group camps. We run school, church, family and adventure camps or activity day visits.
Camp Elim is owned and operated by Taree, Gloucester, Stroud, Tea-Gardens, Wingham, Forster, and Dungog Baptist Church.

Ben grew up on a farm near Gloucester, and has fond memories of coming to Camp Elim on numerous school, youth and church camps.
Ben has experience as a school teacher and pastoring a church, and occasionally still teaches casually.
He has a blog at https://crosscode.club to try and increase interest in running a coding camp at Camp Elim.
Jaz
Office Administrator
Jaz grew up in the local area and loves 4WDing, camping and the bush. She has worked numerous jobs in retail and in the health sector. Jaz joined the team here in 2019. She is putting her accounting qualifications to work in the office.
Kylie
Bookings
Kylie is from a missionary family that ministered in Papua New Guinea until 1995 when she and her family moved to Forster. She attended Taree Christian College as a child and worked in after school care for 20 years. Kylie will most likely be the friendly person who takes your next booking.
Rodney
Activities / Maintenance / Kitchen
Rodney has been in the local area for the last 15 years. He is our longest standing employee, working at Elim for 13 years. Rodney loves riding his motorbike, playing with engines, and the outdoors. Rodney has a background in outdoor maintenance and delivery driving.

Bailey

Bailey moved to the Forster area in 2018, and having completed his training in Outdoor Education, he started working at Camp Elim in 2019. Bailey loves the outdoors and is good at heights, and provides much needed help in the kitchen.

Cleaner
Alison moved to Forster from Canberra 10 years ago. When Alison isn’t spending time with her children she loves crafting. Alison started working at Camp Elim in 2018. Alison is excited to serve here at Elim, and works hard to ensure your accommodation is clean when you come and visit.
Ali
Office Administrator
Ali can be found in the office on the weekends. She and her husband moved to Forster from Sydney in 2009 to help start a local church. She has a degree in Health Science and a background in outdoor recreation. These days she spends most of her time homeschooling her 4 children and enjoying time with them exploring the natural treasures of the Barrington Coast.
Rod
Activities / Maintenance / Kitchen
Rod is our resident spearfisherman & surfer. Together with his wife, he has four sons and knows first-hand the joys of parenting, and the value of outdoor experiences for young people. As a past employment consultant, office manager, schoolteacher, disability support worker, groundsmen, and gardener he brings a broad range of experience to Camp Elim. He can be found supporting campers with any of our outdoor activities, maintaining our grounds, gardens & buildings or even helping our kitchen and cleaning staff too. “On the lake, by the sea”, is exactly the workplace our “fishing-Rod” most wants to be.
